FAQ -> Jugglor -> Using JTools
I have just upgraded my Flash CS3 to use the latest Flash 9 Player. I've noticed now when I use the getURL command to open a PDF file while in fullscreen
i.e
getURL('file.pdf',"_blank");
from my Flash 9 Projector fiile, the window minimises and out of fullscreen.
How can I prevent this ?
I have a juggled file that works on the machine that I created it on,but no other machine. The error occurs after selecting a button to which a "Jstart command" is attached to open up a .pps file. I am using Flash MX and Jugglor. Why would this error occur on every machine, and work perfectly on one?
The error reads: Create MPEG 32 task- CMD is not successful.
How can i dynamically load variables into JEmail i.e Email, Subject and Body and when I press create it automatically creates an email using the users email client
Hi,
I have a projector in fullscreen mode where I'm using getURL("site.htm", charly) to pop the HTML in a browser window.
Everything works fine, but when I click back on the projector the window with site .htm goes behind it.
Is there code that I can use attached to a button in my Flash file which will set this window I've popped up to have focus again?
I have a Windows Projector (.exe) created in Flash MX and exported as Flash 6. I am using Jugglor to remove the border/titlebar etc, and I am trying to use JWEB (from within Jugglor) for a web link contained in the projector. However, it isn't working. I have seen some reference to using .ini files for Flash 6 (?), and that I don't need to patch the movie. Is there a comprehensive list of instructions to tell me how to do this.

You can use FlashJester Jugglor and JStart together. JStart comes FREE with Jugglor Pro.
http://www.jugglor.com
http://jstart.flashjester.com
You basically replace the getURL command with the JStart command and let
In Jugglor you set the Window to be in fullscreen
Setup Settings -> Windows Settings -> Size options -> Fullscreen
and
Setup Settings -> Don't go to foreground on click (scroll down the bottom right box)
There is a tutorial here
JStart Help -> Using Jugglor With JStart

On Microsoft's website it says that the error message occurs because the Mciqtz.drv file is absent from your system folder. The Mciqtz.drv is a driver for ActiveMovie. Or, if the installation of a third-party party program, such as Apple QuickTime for Windows, makes modifications to the [mci extensions] section in the Win.ini file. The [mci extensions] section determines the driver that the movie file format uses. The native media player in PowerPoint must use the MPEGVideo driver, which makes a call to the Mciqtz.drv. If this setting has changed, the problem occurs.

Yes this is possible, you can even load text inside the body now with Email.
See the example file and build the project.
Remember to download the latest version of JTools -> JEmail v 1.4, first.

If you are using Flash MX, Jugglor and JWeb then you don't need to
1. Use ini files
2. Create a FSCOMMAND directory
3. Patch the Flash movie.
Jugglor takes care of this.
Please download the example file to see this working.
